Sainte-Chapelle

The chapel itself is surrounded by the Palais of Justice and it is the most exquisite gothic monument of Paris. It has two tiers, the first one at ground level being rather dark and close and was used for servants and soldiers. The second one was used by the royalty to pray and it is connected with the palace. They are in great part covered only by colourful stained glasses.
For those who want to visit it, the chapel is open every day, 9.30 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. from March till October and from 9a.m. – 17.00 p.m. from November till February.
