The RER (Réseau Express Regional) can sometimes be confused with the Metro. Although they look pretty similar and they have the same stops they are not. The main difference is that many stops of the RER are on the outsides of Paris. The RER journeys are quite long but it is still faster because it doesn’t have too many stops. It won’t take you long to get to the centre of Paris. The RER will easily take you to Disneyland Paris, the Chateau de Versailles and other destinations located on the outsides of Paris. The RER is the most useful subway system of Paris. The network comprises five lines: A, B, C, D and E. These lines serve 258 stops.
