Paris Opera

This prestigious theatre is one of the most amazing monuments of Paris. It has an area of 11.237 m2 and it offers operas, ballet shows and classic music concerts. It is located in the northern part of Place de l'Opéra. It is used to be called with different names such as “Garnier Opera”, “Paris Opera” or “Palais Garnier”
You will probably remind The Phantom of the Opera when you heard one of these names.

It has 2200 seats and due to its unconventional shape many of the seats have a bad view some of them even no one.
The Palais Ganrnier has the Opera Museum that contains many documents and objects of interest.
The ticket for the museum includes a visit to the theatre if there is no rehearsal. The tickets costs 7 euros. Students and kids under the age of 16 only pay 4 euros.
