L’Ecole Du Breuil

This school named Du Breuil was founded in 1867 by the governor Haussman.
This is a private institute, free of charge and mixed in charged of the Agriculture Minister. Any inhabitant of Paris can be registered including people from the les Hauts-de-Seine department.
Nowadays more than 200 pupil and 35 teachers go there. Agricultural techniques are taught there and classes are given for people interested. There are 45 gardeners divided into 4 groups each of them under the responsibility of one boss in charge of taking care of the property and transmit their abilities to pupils.
It is located in the Bois de Vinceness.

Parc André Citroën

The Parc Andre Citroen is a contemporary gem of a park that opened its doors in 1992. The park is a fine product of a landscape design competition in 1985 to remodel the lands of the former Citroen car factory. Joint with la Villete is one of the most important green areas created since the Second Empire.
The heart of the park with an area of 11 hectare includes two a vast esplanade, two immense glasshouses, a stone square and a series of levels designed perpendicular to the Seine.

The Parc Andre Citroen and its thematic gardens, unique architecture, and fusion of organic and industrial elements make a visit here worthwhile and memorable. Over a vast area of fourteen hectares the park perpetuates the tradition of the prestigious parks of Paris which are.

The park is split into several parts: The White Garden, tree-lined, with little foliage and flowering white plants of the Prunus genre. The Dark Garden has very dense and dark vegetation and an empty space in the middle of it.
In the northeast of the park, where the Dark Garden ends, there is a gardening area where the poetical and intimidating gardens are distinguishable. On the other side there is a mineral part furnished with towers, granite statues provide with a big channel.

Parc de Bagatelle

It is located in the Bois de Boulogne.
The château and park came about as the result of a bet between Marie-Antoinette and the Comte d'Artois, who had acquired the domain in 1775. This "bagatelle" miraculously sprang up from the earth in sixty-four days.

Nowadays the park is a wonderful place with majestic trees, gardens, amazing collections of plants, artificial waterfalls, bridges and caves. In the rose garden you can see 9,000 roses of 1,100 varieties coming from every part of the world. It is definitely a tour you will enjoy.

Parc de Belleville

The park is located very close to the Blvd. of Belleville. It works during the day as a market. From there you can appreciate a wonderful sightseeing of Paris.

Bercy Parc

The first part of this park located on the former Bercy wineries was opened to the public. It was designed as a 'garden of memory', recalling the site's history.
Many exhibitions related to nature are carried out there.

Parc of the Butte du Chapeau Rouge

The park is situated on the slope of a hill. The park was designed  by Léon Azéma in the neo-classic style typical of the 1930s. The architect gave priority to its decor: the fountains, sculptures, charming shelters and handsome little monuments dotted around this garden that has an incomparable charming.

Paris Flower Park

It was opened in 1969 on the occasion of the 3rd International Flower Show. It is the biggest green area created since the Second Empire. It offers theme-based gardens and open-air museums that allow you to discover all kind of things.

Parc du Champ de Mars

The Champ-de-Mars had an initial purpose: a training ground for the military manoeuvres of the Ecole Militaire (Military School). Nowadays it is a park where groups of friends or families can spend a nice afternoon. From there you will be able to see a part of the Military School building.

Esplanade des Invalides

You can observe the Seine and Les Invalides from the Gardens of Esplanade des Invalides. It goes from the bridge Alexander III till to Hotel des Invalides, That is where the Military Museum and the burial site of Napoleon are.
